Charles married Isla Snoxall in 1917 at Trousers Point. The newspaper article misspelt Isla’s christian name as probably did the registration of birth.

Flinders Island: Badger Corner and Samphire River 
Charlie and Isla (Nan and Charlie) as I referred to them used to look after me when I was a toddler. You have named her Ida? Must be a spelling mistake as I forwarded this on to their grandson who still lives on Flinders Island and he confirmed it was his grandparents and the old house you have in this was his great grandparents homestead which is still standing today.
Hello, yes I have not spelt correctly, her birth certificate Illa I shall correct, thank you, yes the old house is still standing, very run down, we have a hugely interesting family going back to Mary/Elizabeth Dwyer.

Your welcome, sometimes the registrars who transcribed those documents made mistakes or perhaps mi heard [guessing accents back in the day might have made it a bit tricky] or spelt as th have seen lots of Helen instead of Ellen, my mother in law was to be called Gladys Mary by the time the two ladies tasked with registering her name arrived to do so had it back to front that was in the 30’s): Isla, Illa sound the same I rather like Isla so lets stay with that one):
