Walter George ‘Wally’ was born June 1886
Wally married Doris Mills in 1920 on Cape Barren. Their children were Dorothy, Joy and James. They lived at Puncheon Head, Cape Barren and Adelaide Bay – their farm was between his eldest brother Tuck and youngest brother Horace.
Story from Dad as a teenager: Uncle Wally was a funny old fella… he would often walk up through our farm stop in for a visit, ask Dad to play him a tune on the piano. After this and a yarn he would be on his way again across the Samphire to catch up with other younger siblings John, Dolly & Dick.
